Incorporated 1926, founded around Fish class inter-club racing. Sits inside Big Pass on Sarasota Bay with an annual SYC Invitational Regatta running since 1979. Members-only learn-to-sail programs for all ages.
Sarasota Yacht Club is a private club. Membership is subject to the club's approval. For current membership costs and how to apply, contact the club's membership office. Members of reciprocal yacht clubs can usually arrange visiting access with advance notice.
