Small sailing club on the Indian River Lagoon at Sand Point Park in Titusville, founded in 1975, across the water from Kennedy Space Center. A general membership meeting on the second Monday of each month and a flotilla, usually the Saturday after.
Founded on the Fourth of July, 1975, the club spent decades as a fixture of Space Coast keelboat racing, drawing regattas that pulled sailors from across Florida. It is a smaller club now, and as of October 2026 it runs no beginner classes or regattas, though it may take them up again. Its website still describes both; the club says the site is out of date.
The club meets twice a month: a general membership meeting on the second Monday, and a flotilla, members out on the water together, usually on the Saturday that follows. Members meet more often when the boats need work or someone asks.
The location does a lot of work. The club sails from Sand Point Park by the A. Max Brewer Bridge, on the stretch of the Indian River Lagoon directly opposite Kennedy Space Center. This is the water people drive hours to anchor in for launches, and club members sail it on flotilla Saturdays. A rocket climbing into the sky seen from the deck of a sailboat is a Florida sailing experience no private club can sell.

Power, sail, and social club organized 1980, on the Indian River Lagoon at Seaway Drive in downtown Fort Pierce. Monthly offshore PHRF races plus spring, fall, and all-ladies regattas; any YCA-club member is welcomed, with transient berths next door at the city marina.
