How it works

– Liveaboard / multi-day
– Captain optional
– Bareboat cert required

The fleet is three catamarans of the same length and two different temperaments. No Plans and No Plans 3 are American-built Maine Cat 30s, roomy boats with trampoline nets and bow seating that take six guests through online booking and seven to eleven by inquiry; when both are free they can be run together for larger groups. No Plans 2 is a Stiletto 30, built in Sarasota, tiller-steered, with a mainsail, jib and an optional spinnaker, and it is the boat for returning sailors who want the sportier ride.

The sails are sold by duration. A two-hour dolphin watch and a two-hour sunset sail, a three-hour sail for guests who want more time under canvas, and the four-hour Big Pass Adventure, which adds swimming and kayaking around Big Sarasota Pass, Longboat Pass or New Pass depending on the day’s conditions. Public departures leave Marina Plaza in downtown Sarasota; private charters leave there or from the docks behind Harbour Square on Longboat Key; and the Anna Maria Island days, six hours from the Holmes Beach boat ramp with Egmont Key in reach, are planned by phone.
